First review
A Child Support first review is the first time we review a Child Support objection decision.
We can only review a Child Support decision if an objections officer at Services Australia has completed a review.
A first review is done in the Social Services & Child Support Division of the AAT.
Second review
A Child Support second review is the second time we review a Child Support decision.
We can conduct a second review of the following decisions:
- a decision to refuse an extension of time to apply for a first review of a Child Support decision
- a Child Support decision relating to a party's percentage of care for a child.
A second review is done in the General Division of the AAT.
Departure prohibition orders and departure authorisation certificates
We can review a decision made by the Child Support Registrar about a departure prohibition order or departure authorisation certificate in the General Division of the AAT.
