Federal Circuit Court decision about when the time period starts

The Federal Circuit Court recently decided that the first day of the time period for lodging an application for review of a protection (refugee) visa decision in the Migration & Refugee Division is the day the applicant was notified of the decision: DZAFH v Minister for Immigration and Border Protection [2017] FCCA 387. This means the time period of 28 days (or 7 working days for applicants in immigration detention) includes the day the applicant was notified of the decision.
