Regulations under the Administrative Appeals Tribunal Act 1975 - Proposals for changes

The Administrative Appeals Tribunal Regulations 1976 set out a range of matters that facilitate the operation of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal Act 1975. The Tribunal has been reviewing the Regulations and has prepared a paper outlining a number of changes that are under consideration.

Code of Practice for Notification of Reviewable Decisions and Rights of Review

On 30 November 1994, the Attorney-General issued a Code of Practice for Notification of Reviewable Decisions and Rights of Review pursuant to section 27B of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal Act 1975. The Code sets out steps that a person making a reviewable decision must have regard to in notifying persons of their review rights. A copy of the Code of Practice is available at the ComLaw web site.
