  • Make full use of ADR powers.
  • Continue to improve case management practices and procedures.

  1. Commence a review of practice and procedure in the veterans' affairs jurisdiction.
  2. Continue implementation of our communication strategy by:
    • continuing the review and revision of the Tribunal's information products
    • commencing a redesign of the Tribunal website.
  3. Commence an update of AAT forms.
  4. Conduct regular liaison meetings.
  5. Form a national consultative group.

  1. Continue to implement ACSI 33 and physical security improvements as funding allows.
  2. Maintain and update as required business continuity and risk management plans.
  3. Continue implementation process of new finance, HR and IT systems.
  4. Continue to enhance IT systems.
  5. Prepare a 3-5 Year Strategic Plan covering organisational outcomes and necessary systems changes.
  6. Prepare new long term operational and capital budget plans.
  7. Review hearing, recording and transcript services looking at new technology possibilities.
  8. Investigate "green" business options.

  2. Continue resource sharing arrangements with courts and tribunals.

  5. Continue co-operative work with overseas bodies.
  6. Continue to undertake AAT moot competition.
