About this site
- This is the web site of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT). The AAT provides independent review
of a wide range of administrative decisions made by the
Australian government and some non-government
bodies.

The Australian Government Search Service is used as the search engine for the AAT web site. This Service is an initiative of the Australian Government Information Management Office (AGIMO), a business group of the Department of Finance and Deregulation. It is powered by the Funnelback Search Engine, which was developed in Australia by the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO).
PDF FORMS
PDF forms on this web site are provided in interactive format and non-interactive format.
PDF Interactive Forms
Interactive forms can be downloaded, filled out on-screen, and then printed using a PDF viewer. You cannot save an interactive PDF form with the information you have added unless you have the full commercial version of a PDF writer such as Adobe Acrobat.
Entry Fields
Two basic types of entry fields are used in these forms:
- Checkboxes: a "tick" or "cross" can be entered by use of the mouse button or space bar.
- Information boxes: alphanumeric characters can be entered by means of the keyboard.
Signature fields must be signed by hand and not completed online.
Navigation
To move between form fields use the left mouse button to click on the relevant field. Alternatively, use the "Tab" key to move to the next entry box.
Printing
Use the Adobe Reader print options to print forms.
